South Australia
Migration Consultant in South Australia
The region known as South Australia spans from meridian 132º to 141º, but its name can be misleading. Despite its name, the territory is not located in the southern part of the country. In fact, its northern border is even further north than Brisbane, the capital of Queensland. Interestingly, South Australia is unique in Australia’s history as it was never established as a penal colony.
South Australia’s economic development has been acknowledged by both Standard and Poor’s and Moody’s, who have classified it as ‘AAA’, which is the highest possible status for a country’s economy. To sustain this positive economic growth in the long term, a specialized national immigration program has been set up for South Australia called SISA.
The program “Supporting Innovation in South Australia” (SISA) aims to attract foreign entrepreneurs with innovative ideas to start businesses in the state. It is currently a pilot project that will be expanded to other Australian states if it succeeds between 2018 and 2021.
