Starting from 1 July 2024, the Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT) will rise from $70,000 to $73,150. All new nomination applications submitted on or after this date must meet the new TSMIT of $ 73,150 or the annual market salary rate, whichever is higher. This change will not impact current visa holders or nominations lodged prior to 1 July 2024. Therefore, if you are recruiting after 1 July 2024, your Labor Market Testing ( LMT) must be based off the new TSMIT.
